Privacy policy

• No accounts. You cannot register, and we never ask for your name, email or wallet.
• Your scan history stays in your browser. Recently scanned wallets and your theme choice live in local storage and are never transmitted to us.
• We never ask for a signature or private key. The site reads public data only.
• We do not sell data. There is no personal data here to sell.
• Advertising may be introduced. If it is, third-party ad cookies would apply — the advertising section explains how, and this page will be dated when it changes.

Stored in your browser, not by us

Two items are written to your browser's local storage and stay on your device. We cannot read them, and they are never sent to the server:

• sscan-recent — the last few wallet addresses you looked at, so the home page can offer them again. Clear it any time with the “Clear” button beside that list.
• sscan-theme — whether you chose light or dark.

Clearing your browser's site data removes both. The site works normally without them.

Handled on our server

• IP address, briefly and in memory. Used solely to rate limit requests so one visitor cannot exhaust the capacity the site depends on. It lives in a ten-second counter in memory, is not written to a database, and is not used to profile anyone.
• Error logs. When an upstream request fails, the failing URL and message are written to the server log so the problem can be fixed. These are operational, kept short-term, and not used for analytics.
• A cache of public market data. Responses from Polymarket are cached briefly, keyed by the wallet address that was scanned. This is public blockchain-derived data about that wallet — not data about you — and it expires on its own, typically within seconds to minutes.

What we do not collect

No names, email addresses, passwords, payment details, wallet connections, signatures or private keys. We do not run cross-site tracking or build advertising profiles ourselves.

Using the site causes our server to query these services. They receive our server's request — including the wallet address being scanned — under their own privacy terms:

• Polymarket — positions, activity and PnL data.
• A public Polygon RPC node — live token balances.

Because those calls are made by our server rather than your browser, these services do not see your IP address or your browser.

External links — Polymarket and Polygonscan, for example — take you to sites with their own policies, which we do not control.

The site currently sets no cookies at all, and runs no advertising and no third-party analytics.

Strategy Scanner is free, and advertising is the intended way to cover its running costs. If advertising is introduced — most likely Google AdSense — the following would apply, and this page will be updated and re-dated before it happens:

• Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this and other websites.
• Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on visits to this site and other sites on the internet.
• You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or opt out of third-party vendor cookies at aboutads.info/choices.
• Visitors in regions requiring consent for advertising cookies would be asked before any such cookie is set.

Because there are no accounts, there is no profile to export or delete. In practice:

• Clear your local history with the “Clear” button on the home page, or by clearing site data in your browser.
• Ask about server data. If you believe we hold information about you, email hello@codewithzaheer.com and we will tell you what exists and remove anything we can.
• Wallet data cannot be erased by us. Polymarket activity is public on the Polygon blockchain. No wallet is enrolled or indexed here, wallet pages are excluded from search engines, and the cache expires on its own — but the underlying chain record is beyond anyone's ability to delete.

This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information. Prediction markets are restricted to adults in most jurisdictions.

Material changes — introducing advertising or analytics, above all — will be reflected here with an updated date at the top of the page. Continuing to use the site after a change means accepting the revised policy.
